Overview

We are looking for a skilled Data Analytics & Reporting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive dashboards, reports, and data solutions that inform strategic decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

  • Document reporting requirements by engaging with stakeholders and partnering with People Insights and People Analytics teams to iterate and refine core dashboards and solutions.
  • Extract, organize, and analyze relevant data from multiple sources using tools and programming languages such as Tableau, Hive, Excel, Workday, and Visier.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Research, Forecasting Analytics, and Engineering to implement best practices in data gathering, processing, and analytics.
  • Collaborate with business partners to design and develop dashboards that display meaningful and actionable KPIs.
  • Translate complex data and trends into compelling stories to support business decision-making.
  • Create visualizations that enable leaders and stakeholders to easily interpret data and derive insights.
  • Triage and prioritize requests for people data and ad hoc reports, managing expectations on delivery timelines.
  • Maintain and optimize the SQL code-base used for self-service tools, identifying opportunities for improvements.
  • Build and automate user-friendly, self-service reports and dashboards to empower end-users.
  • Provide guidance and training to end-users on how to interpret and utilize metrics effectively.
  • Deliver standard reports and dashboards on a scheduled basis to ensure consistent reporting.
  • Conduct data audits, investigate discrepancies, and establish processes to enhance data quality and integrity.

Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience working with SQL or similar query languages for relational databases.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau and other data visualization tools (e.g., R, SASS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, charting).
  • Proven experience managing, validating, and auditing data from multiple systems.
  • Strong ability to manipulate large datasets using statistical software or other methods.
  • Experience documenting reporting requirements and collaborating with stakeholders to refine solutions.
  • Familiarity with data management best practices and maintaining codebases, particularly SQL.
  • Ability to build automated, easy-to-use self-service reports and dashboards.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide training and interpret metrics for end-users.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in OP monthly team meetings and team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
