Occupational Therapist K-8 School Setting

Location: El Dorado Hills, CA Position Type: Contract, 2025-2026 School Year A contract opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide services across two schoolsone elementary and one middle schoolin a K-12 district. The caseload will include students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The role offers a flexible schedule of three days per week, with the option to select which days to work. Please note that Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings are typically scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school hours. Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy services across elementary and middle school students (K-8). Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers to develop and implement individualized therapy plans. Participate in IEP meetings as necessary, providing professional insights and progress updates. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress reports. Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings preferred. Familiarity with K-8 student needs and caseload management. Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary educational team. Strong organizational and communication skills. This position offers an hourly rate between $50 and $65, commensurate with experience. The schedule is part-time, three days per week, providing flexibility while supporting student needs effectively.
