We are seeking a General Manager 5 - Food for MedStar Georgetown University Hospital located in Washington, DC. MedStar Georgetown is one of the D.C. area's oldest academic teaching hospitals. We are looking for an experienced leader with a passion for innovation, training, process improvement, and team building. This position will oversee all food services for the 609 licensed hospital, including, retail, patient, and catering services. Key Duties
Directs all contract services. Oversees management/administrative team who are responsible for special functions, cash control and payroll. Customer and client satisfaction Drives growth and develop strategic plans Financial management Ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience. A work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively. General Manager Food & Nutrition leadership experience in a healthcare environment. Experience managing in a union environment. Proficient in computer skills and report management experience. 5 years of management and functional experience.
