As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems ranging from 24VDC to 480VAC systems, including PLCs, motors, VFDs, transformers, and controls. Regular machine assessments and developing solutions for equipment issues will be essential to your role. You will use various tools such as hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment to perform maintenance and repairs. Additionally, you will read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals, maintain a clean and organized workspace following 5S principles, and collaborate with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations. You will also maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and production requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 24VDC to 480VAC systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, transformers, and controls.
• Conduct regular machine assessments and develop solutions for equipment issues.
• Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and equipment manuals.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S principles.
• Collaborate with team members, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and production requirements.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of CNC automation and facilities maintenance.
• Experience with ladder logic and programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with automation systems and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens SINUMERIK 840D sl CNC.
• Associate degree in electrical maintenance.

Work Environment

This role is set in a clean environment, with 80% of the production floor being climate controlled. Although one production area contains two large ovens, it is not excessively hot. Dependability, core values, and being ethical are highly valued alongside skills. The work culture emphasizes personality and alignment with company values. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, and gloves (when needed) are required. There is no formal lunch break, allowing the freedom to eat lunch between operating cycles; employees are encouraged to bring their own lunch. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2 PM to 10 PM, with training conducted on the 1st shift. Occasional overtime may be required on Saturdays, though it is not frequent.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $69680.00 - $80080.00/yr.
