Your tasks

  • Warehouse associate that will perform duties to include picking, labeling, re-labeling, loading, unloading, receiving, and inspections of material and dunnage for shipping, receiving and storage in a fast paced environment.
  • Daily operation of powered industrial trucks or other material handling equipment.
  • Daily use of hand held RF scanner.
  • Daily use of good judgement to comply with instructions or prescribed routines, methods, or practices involving the making of minor decisions.
  • Regular participation in special tasks as assigned such as 6S.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of functions involved with shipping, receiving, storage of parts, materials, and products.
  • Prepare parts and materials for shipments. Verify materials and quantities. Pack materials. Load trucks.
  • Receive shipments. Unload trucks. Check shipments for completeness and damage. Record shipments and compile necessary paperwork. Verify dunnage and count for shipments. Move material to proper area for storage.
  • Avoid damage to equipment or process due to mistake or carelessness, including damage to machines, tools, supplies, devices, apparatus and solutions.
  • Avoid damage to materials, product or installation. Damage may be caused by negligent inspection or testing, wastage of materials, or damage caused by improper installation.
  • Constant safety mindset necessary to prevent injury to others, due to inherent hazards. An accident, should it occur, would result in injuries of a partially incapacitating nature such as loss of a limb or eye, or severe health hazard.
  • Responsible for one's own work.

Your profile

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • 2+ years of experience with powered industrial trucks such as Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Sit Down, etc.
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience
  • Basic arithmetic and ability to interpret numbers, including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, schedules, checking of reports, forms, records, and comparable data, where interpretation is required.
  • Requires continuous attention to detail, usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual: English / Spanish
  • Good computer skills and keyboard proficiency if required.
  • Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

  • Hourly Compensation: The U.S. base hourly wage for this full-time position is $16.75 with an additional shift premium based on the assigned shift.
