Responsibilities

• The Warehouse Picker/Receiver leads by example and performs all projects and day-to-day work in accordance with company standards.
• Work closely with the Tile Warehouse Manager on a daily basis.
• Serve as a receiver and a picker responsible for loading and unloading inbound/outbound trucks in a timely manner.
• Organize and put away material in designated locations.
• Communicate all discovered or suspected material damage or inventory issues to the Tile Warehouse Manager.
• Pull/compile customer orders onto consolidated pallets and wrap/band pallets for safe delivery.
• Load and unload trucks; assist in customer pickups when material is to be placed into residential vehicles.
• Collaborate with coworkers to move large or awkward boxes and pieces.
• Assist in the container receipt process including unloading materials and making system inputs.
• Support the operations team on projects that improve overall operations and maintain a safe, clean work area.

Qualifications

• Availability to work Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (50-75 lbs) regularly.
• Knowledge and experience with forklifts and reach machines; at least 1 year prior experience.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
