Overview

Full Cycle Grants Accountant — Location: Cayce, SC • Pay Rate: $26 – $29.07 per hour DOE • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (flexible with 37.5-hour work week) • Job Type: Long-Term Temporary

Responsibilities

• Prepare, key, and approve journal entries
• Perform various reconciliations
• Assist with retros and invoice creation (approximately 86 grants)
• Support with preparation of Federal Financial Reports (FFRs) for roughly 470 grants
• Serve as backup for daily WIC wires and draw downs
• Provide administrative support to the Subrecipient Compliance section, including:
• Preparing bulk mailouts and tracking responses
• Reviewing and scoring risk assessments
• Entering FFATA reports in SAMS
• Ensuring all audit reports are received
• Assisting with desk reviews of subrecipients

Qualifications

• Experience with full cycle accounting required
• Knowledge of SCIES preferred
• Previous grants experience highly beneficial
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
