Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Staff Accountant located in Orange City, IA. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, conducting audits, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Daily tasks include general ledger accounting, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and assisting with month-end and year-end closings. The Staff Accountant will also prepare tax returns and provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger accounting
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Ability to prepare financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Experience in Quickbooks
