Overview
Front Desk Receptionist/Assistant. Location: Piscataway, NJ. This is a full-time, in-office-only position.
We are seeking a dedicated and professional receptionist/administrative assistant to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional support to our office operations and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. This individual must be proactive and dependable.
This role is ideal for someone who can confidently handle a variety of administrative tasks while maintaining professional communication with staff, vendors, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage all front office activities, including calls, appointments, and correspondence.
- Greet and assist clients and visitors; maintain a professional and organized reception area.
- Answer and manage incoming phone calls and direct them appropriately.
- Handle incoming/outgoing mail and distribute printed sales orders for processing.
- Maintain office inventory and manage ordering of supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a positive first impression.
- Coordinate with staff management to ensure smooth office operations and support the administration department as needed.
Salary & Benefits
The salary for this full-time position ranges from $16 to $21 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a competitive benefits package to support the well-being of our employees.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Must have a valid work visa, be a US citizen, or have a Green Card.
- Experience in the Trade - Retail / Wholesale industry is a plus.
Skills
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff and clients.
- Proficient in managing processes and coordinating with others.
- Experience in Corp-Corp environments is a plus.
