The Department of Corrections, Division of Institutions, is recruiting for multiple Food Service Lead positions at the Wildwood Correctional Center (WCC) located in Kenai, Alaska. What You Will Be Doing

Lead inmate kitchen workers in the preparation and production of meals for approximately 500 inmates per meal at WCC in the main kitchen or the satellite kitchen. Maintain security and control of inmates and ensure safety and security measures are followed including State, Department and Institution policies. Ensure that all modified diets are properly prepared for each meal, which includes, but is not limited to, vegetarian, diabetic, allergy, disruptive inmate diets, religious diets, and other diets as prescribed by the Medical Department. Oversee the production and preparation of all bakery items served at WCC. Ensure food pulled is accurate for the menu item being prepared and oversee the actual preparation and serving of food to inmates. Our Mission, Values, And Culture

Wildwood Correctional Complex is a state adult correctional institution housing inmates of all custody levels. This position works in the kitchens and will interact with inmates daily. Who We Are Looking For

Starting salary may be approved up to Step D - $27.54, if criteria are met.
