Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the warehouse and freezer areas, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities
Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper, and damaged product resulting from distribution functions, taking items to designated areas for reuse or disposal. Track dumped product for proper inventory adjustments and report numbers to the inventory department. Sweep, mop, and dust warehouse areas including but not limited to break rooms, restrooms, offices, and exterior grounds. Maintain pest control stations as required by SAL policy. Fill out required paperwork for job completion tracking. Safely operate heavy machinery such as pallet jacks, sit-down forklifts, floor scrubbers, and reach trucks. Adhere to company policies, standards, and best practices. About You
Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck Operators Training (PITOT) certification required. (Training provided by the company.) Attention to detail with strong communication skills in English. Ability to count accurately, match, and write numbers, with a positive work history including safety and attendance. Strong work ethic and team spirit. Self-motivated with initiative to support a fast-paced environment. Willingness to work required shift schedules, including holidays and weekends. Physical Requirements
