You can expect to assist with evaluating and resolving claims, which will provide experience in the insurance and utility industries. As part of this engagement, you will be expected to spend one week per month on-site at the client's office in Los Angeles, California. Your key responsibilities will include evaluating claims related to a large natural disaster for completeness and accuracy. You will document findings and determine the appropriate next steps for each claim, facilitating a smooth and timely claims process. You will collaborate with team members to escalate issues and resolve claims, all while maintaining a strong focus on the integrity of the process. To qualify for the role you must have a Juris Doctorate degree, and a minimum of one year of relevant work experience in the document review field. Excellent project and time management skills are required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to client's needs is essential. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word is necessary. Excellent client-facing and internal verbal and written communication skills are required. The ability and willingness to travel up to 25%, which includes one week per month to the client site in California, is needed. Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites is recommended. Ideally, you'll also have experience with conducting document review on industry standard document review hosting platforms. Experience with the insurance claims process is a plus. We seek dedicated individuals who are passionate about the claims process and possess the intellectual curiosity to navigate the complexities of evaluating claims in the aftermath of a natural disaster. A strong background in claims processing, attention to detail, and the ability to assess documentation accurately are essential. However, we are not just looking for technical proficiency; we value individuals who can build and nurture relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, demonstrating a commitment to understanding our clients' needs thoroughly. At EY, we'll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences. We'll empower you in a flexible environment, and fuel you and your extraordinary talents in a diverse and inclusive culture of globally connected teams. We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. EY focuses on high-ethical standards and integrity among its employees and expects all candidates to demonstrate these qualities.
