Job Opportunity: Material Handler
Our client, a leading logistics and distribution company, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will support receiving, storage, inventory control, production line replenishment, and outbound shipping. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a positive attitude. Job Title: Material Handler Location: Knoxville, TN Pay Range: $16.10 DOE Shift: MF, 8:00am4:30pm What's the Job? Unload/load trucks; receive, verify, and stage inbound materials. Move, store, and organize products; perform putaway and replenishment. Pick materials/parts for production and customer orders using RF scanners. Build, wrap, and label pallets; prepare shipments to meet deadlines. Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory. Maintain safety rules, housekeeping (5S), and standard work throughout the shift. Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts. What's Needed? High school diploma/GED or 1+ year of relevant experience. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions. Able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Willingness to walk a large facility and work in varied environmental conditions. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills (written & verbal).
