FitRec is a hub for staying active, healthy, and connected, from group classes and swim lessons to recreation and wellness. We're hiring Lifeguards to help keep our aquatic spaces safe, supportive, and fun. As a lifeguard, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone using our pools during recreational swim hours, classes, and special events. We're looking for responsible, attentive, and friendly individuals who are ready to be leaders on the pool deck. In this role, you will: Use preventative lifeguarding techniques to maintain a safe and welcoming aquatic environment Educate patrons on pool rules and policiesand enforce them with professionalism and respect Deliver excellent customer service to all pool users Respond quickly and effectively to any emergencies in or around the pool Participate in all scheduled staff trainings to keep your skills sharp and up to date Required Certifications:
Applicants must hold one of the following current certifications: American Red Cross Lifeguarding with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid (2017), OR American Red Cross Lifeguarding (Including Deep Water) with CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer and First Aid (2024) Pay starts at $16.50/hour.
