Go through front door and check in with reception. Must provide valid photo ID and sign-in. Let them know you are here for Chartwells in the cafeteria and someone will come down to escort you.
Prepares, presents and serves food as needed. Food Prep, Dishwashing, and Clean-up throughout the cafeteria will also be required.
Non-slip shoes are required. Black pants, black collared shirt.
Athleisure wear; sweatpants, leggings, yoga pants, track pants, shorts, hooded garments is not permitted
No holes, rips or patches in clothing. No logos.
Hair must be neat and cleaned (long hair must be tied back)
Fingernails must be kept short and trimmed (no polish or artificial nails)
No Jewelry, other than a plain wedding band (safety hazard)
Duties may include and are not limited to:
Prepare and process fruits and vegetables (wash, peel, cut, seed).
-Weigh, measure, and store ingredients according to food safety standards. -Transport food and supplies safely between workstations, stove, and refrigerator. -Maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, and utensils. -Follow recipes and production standards to ensure food quality, portion control, and proper serving temperatures. -Serve customers courteously and efficiently, addressing concerns and escalating issues to supervisors as needed. -Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards. -Perform additional tasks as assigned by the director. Cell phones must be on vibrate while working. No big bags allowed. Food is not allowed to leave the property. Belongings may be stored in the office though there are NO LOCKERS AVAILABLE. ***General Requirements*** Event Staff/Food Service When working in Event Staff or Food Service Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following: Working independently or in a team to cook, prepare, serve, or transport food items Engaging with customers while operating a point of sale machine or cash register in a professional and courteous manner Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cooking equipment, or other items at the start or end of your shift Work on your feet, either stationary or constantly moving for the full shift Reaching, crouching, bending over, and other physically strenuous activities at times, as required by the immediate supervisor Comfortable working in a busy and at times hectic environment There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants. Note for that for any event staff position that requires handling food, you will need to follow GMP guidelines which include keeping your hair up, neatly trimmed fingernails, and you may be required to cover any facial hair.
