JOB SUMMARY:

The Level II Accountant prepares journal entries, account analyses, reconciliations, and monthly reporting schedules for US general ledger accounts including prepaid expenses, cloud computing arrangements, restructuring, goodwill, and intangible assets. The role supports cross-functional teams, oversees global account reconciliation processes, conducts quality reviews, and participates in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounting processes and internal controls.



JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare journal entries and account analysis for US general ledger accounts
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
• Conduct monthly Balance Sheet fluctuation analysis
• Prepare monthly reporting schedules for management, providing commentary and noting changes from prior periods
• Support cross-functional teams with journal entry posting and account analysis
• Oversee global account reconciliation process and conduct periodic quality reviews
• Conduct training sessions for global accounting teams on reconciliation best practices and key accounting topics
• Design, implement, and maintain effective accounting processes, policies, and internal controls
• Identify automation opportunities and collaborate with accounting transformation teams to support scalable and transformational processes
• Perform other related duties or ad hoc projects as required

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• 3–5 years of recent audit experience with a Big 4 or national accounting firm, or equivalent corporate accounting experience
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships across the organization

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Active CPA license



CERTIFICATIONS:

CPA (preferred)



EDUCATION:

Formal college degree in Accounting or related field required



EXPERIENCE:

3–5 years of relevant accounting or audit experience
