EVS Project Technician- Full Time, Nights
The Environmental Service Project Technician is responsible for providing a safe care environment for patients, and staff (visitors as appropriate to setting) that require additional education and/or training achieved by demonstrating the principles of proper restorative floor care (refinishing & maintaining), carpet care, tile & grout restoration, primary maintenance of equipment & machines and other projects as needed. While executing the assigned tasks, the EVS Project Technician will have contact with patients and perhaps family. Contact may include physical, psychological, educational, and safety related and should be appropriate to the specific demographics of patients served in assigned specialty service areas. Responsible for ensuring assigned projects follow all appropriate safety guidelines while being excellent stewards of time and resources. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1-2 years of Environmental Services and/or 1-2 years of restorative floor care experience required.
