Transporter Full Time I Day Shift
Our Stress Lab department is dedicated to providing cardiac stress testing using a patient-centered approach. Our team of credentialed registered nurses as well as other healthcare professionals help to provide patients with quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing and treating cardiovascular conditions. Description: Transporter will also assist in patient care in the Cardiovascular Lab as needed. Transfers patients with appropriate utilization of mechanical lifts. Transporter is responsible for the transport of Baptist Health patients to and from departments within the hospital and transporting discharged patients to one of the main lobby exits (preferably 1740 in South tower and 1700 in North tower). Responsible for transporting in-patients to and from Cardiovascular Lab/In-patient Echo lab for cardiac testing. Responsible for transporting out-patients from Cardiovascular Lab to discharge. Other duties as necessary to assist with patient flow in Cardiovascular Lab. Requirements: High School graduate or GED. Previous hospital/transport experience desirable.
