Apprentice Electrician

Currently seeking apprentice electricians to join RK Electric LLC. These positions are based in Bismarck, Hazen, and Beulah, ND. You will support licensed journeymen on residential, commercial, and industrial projects while learning safe, code-compliant workmanship. This position is located in Bismarck, Hazen, or Beulah, ND. Relocation is not provided. Responsibilities of the apprentice electrician: assist journeymen with installation, service, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment; pull wire, install conduit, set fixtures/devices, and stage materials and tools as directed; interpret basic diagrams, drawings, and specifications with guidance; maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site; follow company safety procedures and the NEC; provide courteous, professional communication with customers and team members; and perform all other electrical duties as assigned. Monday - Friday, during busy seasons potential Saturdays.

Requirements of the apprentice electrician: high school diploma or GED (required); enrollment in or completion of a recognized electrical apprenticeship program (preferred); preferred 2 years of electrical experience with verifiable work history; basic understanding of electrical tools and materials; willingness to learn; ability to read and follow instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints; valid drivers license and clean driving record (MVR will be reviewed); and ability to pass a background check.
