About the role Were looking for personable, reliable On-Call Banquet Servers and Bartenders to support weddings, meetings, and special events. This fast-paced role involves setup, service, bartending (as assigned), and breakdown. Youll help create a smooth, memorable guest experience while maintaining a professional appearance, following safety standards, and staying active throughout your shift. What you'll do Reports and takes direction from the Food & Beverage managers Welcomes each guest personally using enthusiastic words, tone, and body language at all times Set up and break down banquet spaces according to event specifications Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout the event Makes guests feel appreciated through your actions Works as a team with all personnel in order to maintain an effective atmosphere and an efficient food and beverage service Inputs orders into computer immediately, collects money from guests and makes change Handles cash in accordance with the company cash handling policy Arranges bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display Bartend for events, following proper portioning and alcohol safety guidelines (if assigned) Maintain cleanliness and organization of event areas, stations, and service equipment Collaborate with team members and banquet leadership to ensure smooth event execution Work scheduled shifts that may include weekends, evenings, and holidays Other duties as assigned Qualifications Extraordinary attention to detail Basic mathematical skills and an ability to handle money and give correct change Organizational skills Multi-task oriented Knowledge of Companys food and beverage specifications Knowledge of workplace safety procedures $12.50 Per Hour + tips Part-time 2 to 8 shifts on an on call basis Annually: 5 vacation days, 5 paid sick days, 11 paid holidays Food & beverage discount and discounted hotel rooms Opportunity for growth within Hotel Ulysses and parent company ASH NYC .
