Overview
Position: Composition Quality Assurance Administrator, Temporary / Software Test Engineer with Security Clearance (example titles listed in original posting). Location: Annapolis, MD / Laurel, MD / Fort Meade, MD as applicable. Responsibilities
Provide plan, design, scripting and deployment of scripts for JIS applications within the JIS testing environments.
Assist the AOC in all technical aspects and assure the completion of assigned projects.
Perform configuration and development activities specific to the LeapWork test scripting solution, in accordance with mutually agreed requirements and timelines.
Train QA staff on efficient LeapWork functions and transfer knowledge.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on LeapWork test scripting and ITIL best practices.
Support LeapWork modules with tasks including building LeapWork framework based on prioritized test cases, mentoring QA resources, and developing test flows.
Meet with the client to transition hand-over work documents and develop test scenarios based on application requirements.
Create detailed documentation of test cases, automation logic, and troubleshooting steps.
Develop manual test scripts from which automated test scripts will be based; create automated test flows within LeapWork for identified processes.
Document execution results, defect logging, and create user training materials for maintenance and expansion of automation efforts.
Be prepared to support new, existing, or rebranded LeapWork modules or other product offerings as requested.
Qualifications
Experience: Ten (10) years in all aspects of the Quality Assurance process, including requirements review, scenario design and script development, and QA tool development.
Eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology development environments, including cloud computing and on-premise solutions.
Three engagements with LeapWork test scripting within the previous thirty-six (36) months.
Familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Experience with automated testing tools such as LeapWork, Selenium, Silk Test, Rational, etc.
Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities
Testing methodology and practices; knowledge of operating systems and software development fundamentals.
SQL at a basic level; web and desktop application testing; data-driven automation.
Reusability and sub-flows; locator control in automation; schedules and run lists; reports and dashboards.
Performance troubleshooting; understanding of the system test life cycle, review processes, and test case documentation.
Agile, Scrum, and waterfall methodologies; process and gap analysis skills; strong scripting and test case skills.
