We are looking for a
LeapWork Test Automation Specialist
to join the client’s Quality Assurance team supporting the Maryland Judiciary Information Systems (JIS). This role is 100% focused on LeapWork, and the successful candidate must bring proven, hands-on LeapWork test scripting expertise from the past 36 months. Candidates without LeapWork experience should not apply. This role requires demonstrated LeapWork test scripting experience within the past 36 months. If you do not meet this requirement, you will be automatically rejected. Responsibilities
Plan, design, script, and deploy automated test flows exclusively using LeapWork for JIS applications. Configure and develop LeapWork test scripts in line with AOC requirements. Build and optimize LeapWork automation frameworks for both web and desktop applications. Mentor QA staff by demonstrating LeapWork best practices, reusable sub-flows, and efficient locator strategies. Deliver detailed documentation of LeapWork test cases, automation logic, schedules, run lists, and dashboards. Create and maintain LeapWork reports, defect logs, and troubleshooting documentation. Provide SME-level guidance on LeapWork, including performance troubleshooting and optimization. Develop user training materials to expand LeapWork automation adoption. Transfer knowledge to QA staff, ensuring sustainable LeapWork automation practices within the organization. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s also acceptable). Demonstrated LeapWork test scripting experience within the past 36 months (multiple clients or continuous engagement acceptable). Ability to pass an in-person LeapWork technical exam during the interview. 10+ years of QA experience across web and desktop applications. 8+ years in IT environments across cloud and on-premises systems. Experience with automation tools such as LeapWork (required), plus Selenium, Tosca, Silk Test, or Rational Functional Tester. Knowledge of SQL basics for backend validation. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies. Experience with tracking tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Azure DevOps). Strong documentation, error troubleshooting, and test lifecycle skills.
