This is a part-time role within LensCrafters at Macys. General Function

The Sales Associate sets the quality standard in eye care and eyewear by ensuring every patient and customer has the best experience in every LensCrafters visit. The role helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in the community. Responsibilities

Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones. Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings. Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the best vision solution. Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with the Optician as needed. Participate in creating a positive store environment and maintain professional relationships with peers, management, doctors and support staff. Maintain store appearance; keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized. Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect. Basic Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers and calculators; basic phone and math skills Willingness to embrace new technology and adapt with accuracy Ability to sell through strong sales skills and accountability for sales results; desire to meet goals Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in a changing environment Pay Range: 16.74 - 22.89 Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
