Sanitation Associate
(Sunday-Tuesday & every other Wednesday from 5:00pm-5:00am) Department:
Sanitation Reports to:
Supervisor Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include
Inspect equipment for conformity to federal and state sanitation laws. Perform cleaning of equipment and inspection of all working parts to ensure readiness for production use. Clean work areas to avoid damage and destruction to the facility. Inspect premises for unsanitary practices and conditions; escalate issues to management and production personnel. Adhere to changes in equipment, plant layout, lighting, or work practices to improve sanitation standards. Operate lifting equipment such as IE Boom lift, scissor lift, and forklift for overhead cleaning. Requirements Include
High school diploma required. Basic math, reading, writing, and computer skills are necessary. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with co-workers, departments, vendors, and candidates. Excellent interpersonal skills and advanced computer literacy. Physical Requirements
Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling; fine finger dexterity. Must be able to perform these with or without accommodations. Work environment involves temperature variations in a food manufacturing warehouse. Unrestricted visual and audio abilities are required. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Food Safety Requirements
Prioritize food safety, quality, and sanitation by following Thrive Food's policies and procedures. Accountable for food safety and sanitation guidelines; report incidents or observations. Serve as backup in the absence of the Lead to ensure compliance with food safety and SQF system requirements. Additional Information
