Assistant Baker
Assistant Baker position at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe, located at South Mall Drive, St. George, UT, USA. Pay is $13-$14 per hour depending on experience and availability. Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is looking for a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team and have the opportunity to create a unique menu selection of artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads. Qualifications for an Assistant Bread Baker include: Proven track record of demonstrating superhero abilities in the kitchen from following recipes to paying close attention to additional details to create one-of-a-kind breads. Lifting large amounts of dough, flour, and other supplies all weighing 50 lbs. plus is an important task of this role - the ability to stand, lift, and mix is also a daily requirement. The ability to work through change & be able to be flexible all while keeping a close eye on what's cooking! The schedule availability to work afternoons/nights. Bread Baking shifts start around 11 am - 7 pm, plus a shift on Sunday (when the store is closed). During holiday seasons the Bread Baking team schedule may flex into overnight shifts too. Additional qualifications include: Large-scale baking/pastry experience (preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right person!) Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus!
