Top Secret Security Manager
Oversee a team responsible for physical security and fire protection to ensure the safety of personnel and property. This role involves managing recruitment, selection, training, performance evaluations, work assignments, salary administration, and recognition or disciplinary actions for subordinate staff. Key responsibilities include: Supervising employees providing physical security and fire protection services. Coordinating recruitment, training, and development of team members. Conducting performance assessments and managing work assignments. Overseeing salary administration and implementing recognition and disciplinary actions. Managing the deployment and activities of patrol vehicles, emergency firefighting equipment, radar systems, closed-circuit television (CCTV), and communication systems. Establishing and conducting regular security inspections. Collaborating with firefighting and law enforcement agencies to enhance safety protocols. Basic qualifications: Must be a US citizen. Must have a California (CA) Guard Card and ability to obtain/retain CA Driver's License, and CA Firearm Permit within 30-days of employment. Must wear Lockheed Martin (LM) issued security uniform, to include second-chance vest. Must be able to respond and coordinate with local police during active shooter and other hostile/non-hostile situations. Facility protection experience (personnel and property protection). Must have 5-years prior leadership experience in a security field (law enforcement/military preferred). Desired skills: Antiterrorism/Force Protection experience. Managerial experience with hourly guard force desired. This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US citizen for consideration. Clearance level: Top Secret. Pay rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $62,200 - $109,595. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
