As a Food Runner, your primary responsibilities include providing outstanding service, delivering customer orders, maintaining tables, and ensuring guest satisfaction. You'll also assist with general cleaning and side duties to uphold our high standards. Here, you'll be part of an extraordinary whole fish program, where dishes are presented tableside with flair by our charismatic captains, ensuring each guest encounter is as celebratory as it is seamless. The starting rate: $14.1037 hourly + tips The day-to-day: Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment Anticipate the guests' needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required Perform other job-related duties as requested The ideal candidate: 1+ years of prior relevant experience as a food server or runner in an upscale, fine-dining restaurant Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays The perks & benefits: Wellness incentive programs to help you stay healthy physically and mentally Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more Free meals in our employee dining room Free parking on and off shift Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Professional and personal development through programs and networking opportunities as well as volunteer opportunities in the community
