They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing accounting team. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing month-end close activities, supporting financial compliance, and ensuring accuracy in reporting for leadership. Why This Senior Accountant Role Stands Out Exposure to a wide variety of accounting functions (accruals, allocations, payroll entries, leases) Opportunity to work with both short-term and long-term capital lease schedules Hands-on role with direct impact on financial reporting and compliance Competitive salary, great benefits, and career development opportunities Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant As a Senior Accountant , you will: Prepare and review accruals, allocations, and prepaid expense schedules Post weekly payroll journal entries and reconcile payroll accounts Maintain and update amortization schedules for short-term and long-term capital and financing leases Assist with monthly close processes, including reconciliations and journal entries Support internal and external audits by providing detailed schedules and documentation Prepare reports and financial analyses to support management decision-making Work cross-functionally with other teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting Qualifications for the Senior Accountant To succeed as a Senior Accountant , you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within healthcare, medical device, or manufacturing environments Strong understanding of GAAP, month-end close, and reconciliations Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and complex formulas required) High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Excellent organizational and communication skills Experience with ERP systems preferred Perks & Benefits for the Senior Accountant Role Competitive pay with opportunities for merit increases Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits 401(k) with company match and generous PTO Career development and training programs Collaborative work environment with supportive leadership INSEP2025 CFSSEP2025 ZRCFS
