SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Pittsburgh, PA (Hybrid) $65,000- $75,000 We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to support key financial operations and reporting activities. This position is essential in ensuring the accuracy of daily transactions, contributing to monthly closings, and helping maintain strong internal controls. OVERVIEW OF THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE: Manage and post daily transactions to the general ledger with accuracy and timeliness Prepare and analyze journal entries and support the month-end and year-end closing process Assist with the preparation of internal financial reports and external statements Handle standard cost accounting processes and analysis Collaborate closely with AP and AR teams to ensure timely processing of payables and receivables Provide audit support through thorough documentation and reporting Assist with annual budgeting and periodic forecasting activities Reconcile and oversee the activity of 70 corporate credit card accounts Stay informed and compliant with all applicable financial regulations and standards Maintain well-organized records and documentation for all financial functions PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Minimum of 4 years of relevant accounting experience Solid understanding of GAAP and/or IFRS principles Strong Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis tools Experience using SAP or similar ERP software
