Industrial Engineering - Continuous Improvement Analyst

We are seeking a results-driven Industrial Engineer with a strong focus on time study, line balancing, man-machine ratio improvement, and continuous flow implementation to support our automotive manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving productivity, cost reduction, and lean transformation by leveraging data-driven analysis and engineering principles. Key Responsibilities

Process Optimization & Industrial Engineering Conduct time and motion studies, work sampling, and layout analysis to improve labor utilization and reduce cycle time. Perform line balancing and optimize the man-machine ratio to ensure maximum throughput and minimal idle time. Drive implementation of continuous flow systems to enhance efficiency and reduce WIP inventory. Create and maintain standard work documentation and support training efforts. Lean Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement Apply Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S, Pull Systems, Quick Changeover, TPM) to eliminate waste and streamline operations. Facilitate and participate in Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops. Support implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) to minimize unplanned downtime. Cost Reduction & Efficiency Projects Lead and manage cost reduction initiatives aimed at reducing conversion costs and improving direct labor efficiency. Track and report on cost savings KPIs and ensure that improvements are sustained long-term. Propose and manage headcount optimization projects without compromising quality or safety. Additional Key Responsibilities

Automation & Technology Integration Evaluate opportunities for automation and digitization of manual processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess feasibility and return on investment in new technologies. Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring Utilize data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Minitab) to identify inefficiencies and improvement areas. Support fast response management for quality and production issues through root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Why, Fishbone, A3). Job Requirements

Achieve targets in conversion cost productivity and Operating Income (OI) margin. Improve direct labor efficiency and reduce labor costs through smarter engineering solutions. Execute standard work and line balancing initiatives across multiple shifts. Support shift reductions through optimized scheduling and productivity gains. Implement TPM, pull flow, and quick changeover systems. Drive fast-response problem solving culture and capability across teams. What Your Background Should Look Like
