Essential functions include preparing hot and cold foods according to menus, recipes, and production sheets; preparing special texture and therapeutic modified foods; serving and distributing food in residents' living and work areas; ensuring food safety; stocking and monitoring food supplies; and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Knowledge of preparing large quantities of food using recipes and in accordance with food safety regulations; ability to work in all areas of a large food service kitchen; skills in communication and the ability to effectively communicate production concerns to supervisors; ability to work cooperatively with coworkers, residents, and staff; and ability to work with and around WLRC residents, including those who may display challenging behaviors. Minimum qualifications: 2-4 years of progressive work experience in food services or an associate's degree in culinary arts with 0-1 year of relevant experience. Necessary Special Requirements
Physical working conditions include lifting heavy items, tolerating cold temperatures, standing for a full shift, and physically utilizing industrial-size kitchen equipment. This position requires a valid driver's license to drive a food delivery truck.
