The Role
We are looking for a part-time Line Cook to join our Bushwick location. Candidates must be available to work weekends. While kitchen skills are important, we place higher value on attitude, teamwork, and growth potential.
Responsibilities
Set up and stock food items and supplies.
Prepare ingredients by cutting, chopping, mixing, and making sauces.
Cook proteins (including seafood and meats) and other dishes using grilling, frying, sautéing, and other methods according to recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and follow food sanitation requirements, including proper storage.
Clean and sanitize cooking surfaces at the end of the shift.
Assist with inventory checks and food storage logs.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of NYC line cook experience preferred.
Weekend availability required.
Basic written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and speed in execution.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Follows directions and maintains high standards.
