You will oversee the full product lifecycle, from architecture and design to validation and production, ensuring that solutions are safe, robust, and scalable. This highly cross-functional role requires close collaboration with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the robot.ResponsibilitiesLead the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, embedded electronics, and safety-critical circuitsOwn critical subsystems from architecture through production, ensuring reliability and manufacturabilityCollaborate with mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams to achieve integrated system performanceGuide and review schematic design, PCB layout, analysis, and validation activitiesDrive electrical testing and verification at subsystem and system levelsManage documentation, risk assessments, and compliance with safety and industry standardsMentor and support junior and mid-level electrical engineers, fostering technical excellence across the teamSupport troubleshooting and issue resolution during prototyping and production phasesQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field8+ years of experience in electrical design for complex electro-mechanical systemsExpertise in power electronics, embedded systems, and safety-critical design practicesStrong background in schematic design, PCB layout, and design for manufacturabilityExperience validating electrical systems through rigorous testing and analysisProven track record of bringing designs from concept to productionAbility to lead design reviews and mentor engineersStrong collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teamsBenefits & CompensationSalary Range: $178,419 – $350,400Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and holidaysEqual Opportunity Employer1X is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
