Our client, an industry leader in material handling and processing, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the operations support team supporting production and maintenance activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a physically demanding environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Independence, OR
Pay Range: $17.40

What's the Job?
Ensure the flow of organic materials through shakers by monitoring and poking to prevent bridging
Inform heavy equipment operators when shakers need refilling
Perform housekeeping duties such as scraping, sweeping, shoveling, and stacking bags to maintain a clean work environment
Assist with small bag line operations and restacking pallets as needed
Report equipment issues to maintenance personnel to ensure smooth operations
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED
Entry-level experience preferred
Ability to follow safety practices diligently
Capability to work in dusty, hot, cold, or rainy environments
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders
