Our client, a leader in commercial real estate, is seeking a

Receptionist

to support its office in

Santa Clara, CA . This is a

full-time, on-site role

operating

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm . The position starts as a

5-month contract opportunity

with the potential to extend and pays

$20 per hour . This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong customer service skills who enjoys being the first point of contact in a fast-paced, professional environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, well-spoken, and comfortable managing front desk operations, guest services, and administrative support with professionalism and ease.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the first point of contact for all employees, guests, and vendors entering the building Maintain a polished and welcoming front desk presence Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently Greet and assist visitors, providing directions or escorting them to meeting rooms Ensure all guests are properly signed in and compliant with security protocols Assist with badge creation and access setup for visitors and temporary staff Manage bookings and setup for conference and meeting rooms Ensure meeting spaces are prepared and equipped as needed Provide courteous and helpful responses to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person Support a high level of service that reflects the company's standards and culture Qualifications

1-2 years of experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer service role High School Diploma or GED required Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiar with Outlook for calendar scheduling and email Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for chat, meetings, and collaboration Strong general computer skills including internet browsing, printing, and file management Nice to Have

Previous experience in a corporate or professional office environment Experience with guest check-in systems or visitor management software Familiarity with basic access control and security procedures
