Trillium Construction is hiring for an MEP Project Manager in Lexington, KY to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on complex construction projects. Candidates with experience managing healthcare facility projects are strongly preferred. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver mission-critical systems on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Duties:
- Manage all phases of MEP scope on assigned projects, from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
- Oversee coordination and integration of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Review design documents, shop drawings, and submittals for compliance with healthcare codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors, engineers, and owners to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow.
- Ensure all safety standards, building codes, and healthcare regulations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide leadership in problem-solving, risk management, and project execution strategies.
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, and contract administration.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure seamless installation, inspection, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Prepare and present progress reports, financial updates, and project documentation to stakeholders.
Compensation:
- Annual salary between $95,000 - $135,000, depending on experience
- Per diem, if applicable
- M/V/D benefits
- PTO
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7+ years of MEP project management experience; healthcare project experience strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare-specific codes, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proven success in managing budgets, schedules, and subcontractors on complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.) preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
