Payroll Specialist
We're seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Human Resources team. You'll be responsible for processing payroll for 260 employees (including exempt, non-exempt, and contingent staff), ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness across weekly and monthly cycles. Key Responsibilities
Process hourly and salaried payrolls Manage new hires, employee changes, and voluntary deductions Handle manual checks, discrepancies, and stop payments Review and correct computed wages Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws Prepare payroll reports, journal entries, and reconcile in MRTA system Support bonus calculations and benefits-related deductions Skills & Tools
Payroll processing, data entry, reconciliation Microsoft Office & Excel ADP, UKG Pro, MRTA Journal entry preparation Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Familiarity with FLMA, garnishments, and benefits administration Preferred Qualifications
Experience with UKG and ADP software Bachelor's degree (experience valued more than education) Strong attention to detail and time management Personable, professional, and solutions-oriented Work Environment
Onsite at a manufacturing facility (jeans acceptable) Steel-toed shoes required (reimbursable up to $125/year upon conversion) Fast-paced and fun team culture Confidentiality and discretion are essential The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
