Claims Care Advocate (Remote)

This role is essential to the smooth operation of our Claims Department, providing administrative support across multiple functions including Claims Operations, Subrogation, Technical Services, and Nurse Case Management.
As a Claims Care Advocate, you'll be the first point of contact for many of our customers and partners, helping to ensure that every interaction reflects MEM's commitment to excellence. You'll manage records, coordinate logistics, process claims, and support our internal teams-all while delivering outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative Support & Workflow Management
Provide comprehensive support across all Claims functions including Operations, Subrogation, Technical Services, Nurse Case Management, and external stakeholders such as Policyholders and Producers. Manage requests for documentation including offer letters, wage statements, medical records, OSHA reports, police reports, and more. Coordinate logistics for injured workers and adjusters, including hotel reservations, IME appointments, and transportation. Prepare and send claim files to attorneys and subrogation adjusters. Manage collections activities and certified mailings; reconcile monthly expenses. Records Management & Transcription
Process records requests through third-party vendors, ensuring timely and accurate retrieval. Claims Processing & Indexing
Index and process claims and tasks to ensure accurate and efficient review. Respond to customer inquiries via email, fax, and web with professionalism and adherence to service standards. Follow established procedures for document formatting and attachment. Gather necessary information for claim entry and document initial compensability and regulatory compliance. Maintain activities in ClaimCenter Queues and ImageRight tasks. Partner with external vendors such as Corvel, OneCall, MetroReporting, and HomeLink. Timely processing of Division of Workers Compensation requests and updates. Customer Service & Communication
Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and chat. Provide clear, professional, and timely communication to all stakeholders. Promote MEM services to policyholders, producers, medical providers, injured workers, and attorneys when applicable. Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in a professional office environment. Exposure to Workers' Compensation or similar industry preferred. Licenses:
