About The Position
We are seeking a board-certified Gynecologic Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Texas, starting Jan 12, 2026. This role features a balanced weekday schedule with two days in clinic, two days in the OR, and one administrative day each week, plus call coverage. The assignment offers a unique blend of outpatient consults, surgical cases requiring Da Vinci skills, and multidisciplinary care participation.

- 2 days clinic (rotating weekly)
- 2 days in the OR
- 1 admin day (tumor board, case review, documentation)
- Weekday call (cover own patients)
- Call every other weekend
- Shift hours: 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide outpatient consults and follow-up care, including for new patients
- Perform inpatient consults, rounding, and patient management
- Maintain full surgical competency with Da Vinci robotic procedures; provide case logs
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning, including tumor boards
- Rotate between clinic and operating room as scheduled
- Manage documentation and case review on administrative days
Additional Information
- Board certification in Gynecologic Oncology and Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- Must hold an active Texas medical license
- Experience and case logs on Da Vinci robotic system required
- Strong bedside manner is essential due to significant clinic component
