About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This role begins on Oct 27, 2025, with day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing exceptional patient care in a primary care setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Consult with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment.
- Recommend and order tests to determine the extent of illness or help diagnose conditions.
- Monitor lab results, medication adherence, and medication toxicities.
- Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with patients.
- Refer patients to medical specialists when necessary.
- Represent the practice at hospital committees, ensuring fair distribution of responsibilities among all physicians.
- Collaborate and manage Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
Additional Information
- Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Licensed to practice medicine in California
- Proven experience in a primary care setting
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- EMR System: Cerner
