About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Nov 10, 2025, with an 18-week commitment. This night-shift opportunity is based in a community hospital setting, offering 24-hour physician coverage and weekday APP support in an emergency department.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care in an emergency department within a hospital
- Stabilize and manage traumatic patients in a non-designated trauma setting
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, arterial and central line placements
- Deliver care to all age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric patients
- Collaborate with weekday advanced practice provider staff
- Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation and care coordination
Additional Information
- Florida medical license required
- Trauma experience preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable with all lifesaving procedures
- Board certification not required for this position
