About The Position
We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, starting Dec 8, 2025. This 18-week opportunity offers night shifts in a fast-paced community hospital, with the potential to incorporate day shifts after onboarding. The role features comprehensive 24-hour physician and APP coverage in an emergency department within a hospital. Providers will care for all age groups, primarily adults and geriatric patients, and must be comfortable performing all lifesaving emergency procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care for all ages, with emphasis on adult and geriatric patients
- Stabilize traumatic patients in a non-designated trauma setting
- Perform all lifesaving procedures, including:
- Intubation
- Ventilator management
- Chest tube insertion
- Arterial line placement
- Central line placement
- Manage a broad spectrum of emergency cases in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with advanced practice providers and hospital staff
- Utilize Meditech EHR for patient documentation
Additional Information
- Florida medical license required
- Trauma experience preferred but not required
- Board certification not required
