About The Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in South Carolina starting Dec 1, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30am to 4:30pm, and involves participation in a Tumor Board, management of bone marrow transplants, and oversight of blood bank operations. Responsibilities and Duties
- Participate in Tumor Board reviews and discussions
- Manage bone marrow transplant patients and protocols
- Oversee blood bank operations and related patient management
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
- Prescribe and manage chemotherapy regimens (administered by nurse oncologists)
- Provide ongoing evaluation and care for hematology and oncology patients
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology required
- Active South Carolina license required (open to providers who need to obtain state licensure)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
