About The Position

We are seeking a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in South Carolina starting Dec 1, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30am to 4:30pm, and involves participation in a Tumor Board, management of bone marrow transplants, and oversight of blood bank operations. The assignment is ideal for an experienced oncologist who values collaboration and is committed to delivering high-quality patient care within a well-structured clinical environment.


Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Participate in Tumor Board reviews and discussions
  • Manage bone marrow transplant patients and protocols
  • Oversee blood bank operations and related patient management
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies
  • Prescribe and manage chemotherapy regimens (administered by nurse oncologists)
  • Provide ongoing evaluation and care for hematology and oncology patients

Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Hematology & Oncology required
  • Active South Carolina license required (open to providers who need to obtain state licensure)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and DEA certification required
