About The Position
We are seeking a licensed Interventional Cardiologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, starting Nov 3, 2025. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, with a combination of clinic and procedural duties. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with both inpatient and outpatient care, ensuring comprehensive cardiovascular services.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide interventional cardiology services in both clinic and hospital settings
- Maintain a half-day clinic schedule at an outreach location weekly
- Manage patient follow-ups (15 minutes) and new patient assessments (30 minutes)
- Perform procedures in the Cath Lab, with potential to increase procedural volume
- Participate in a call schedule, supporting both interventional and non-interventional needs
- Ensure high-quality care, with an average door-to-balloon time for STEMI patients under 60 minutes
Additional Information
- Must be board certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Valid Kentucky medical license required
- Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably Epic
- No office-based procedures are involved
- Facilities include a 24-bed ICU, 6-bed CVICU, and multiple specialized labs
