About The Position
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky beginning on Nov 1, 2025. This 105-day role involves day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including weekend and holiday coverage. The successful candidate will primarily engage in direct patient care, offering both inpatient and outpatient services.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care
- Collaborate with mental health staff for patient management
- Conduct patient admissions, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans
- Manage patient care including timely treatment and discharge
- Operate the clinic, examine patients, and interpret reports
- Provide clinical psychiatry services in various settings including clinic and residential care
- Ensure communication of test results as per protocols
- Follow established medication policies and procedures
- Offer discharge education and coordinate follow-up care
