About The Position
We are seeking a Hematologist/Oncologist for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Maryland, starting Oct 6, 2025. This role includes a combination of clinic shifts Monday through Thursday and rotational weekend call duties. Ideal candidates will be board certified in Hematology, hold a current BLS certification, and have at least three years of experience.
Job Details

- Schedule:
- Clinic: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekly inpatient consult and night call
- 24-hour weekend call every 4th weekend
- Inpatient consult support rounding on admitted patients
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive care in Hematology and Oncology
- Manage outpatient and inpatient cases
- Perform consultations and follow-up visits
- Participate in on-call rotation as specified
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Additional Information
- Board certification in Hematology required
- Maryland state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date
- DEA and CSR licenses necessary
- Proficiency with the Epic EMR system
