Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage critical care patients in ICU
- Create, direct, and coordinate patient care plans
- Conduct and order diagnostic tests; analyze results
- Prescribe treatments and therapies based on test results
- Work integratively within a healthcare team
- Educate patients and set healthcare goals
- Perform technical procedures in critical care settings, such as:
- Managing ventilators
- Completing central lines
- Performing intubations
- Inserting peripheral arterial catheters
- Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed
Additional Information
- Active state license required
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- DEA License and state Controlled Substance Registration
- Minimum of 18 months acute experience in ICU or similar settings
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
