About The Position

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage and oversee the care of critical care patients in a busy ICU
- Create, direct, and coordinate comprehensive patient care plans
- Conduct and order diagnostic tests; analyze and interpret results to prescribe treatments
- Work collaboratively within an integrated healthcare team
- Educate patients and set achievable health management goals
- Perform critical procedures such as managing ventilators, completing central lines, intubations, and inserting peripheral arterial catheters
- Ensure timely submission of professional service charges
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Massachusetts state license, DEA License, and state Controlled Substance Registration
- Required certifications: American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Minimum of 18 months of acute experience in ICU or similar settings as an advanced practice provider
- Proficiency in performing all technical skills required in the critical care setting
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential
