Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM on 5x8-hour schedule

• Weekend coverage required - 2 weekends per month

• Patient ratios: 1:3 during days, 1:4 during nights and weekends

• Minimum 1 year of experience required

• Venipuncture skills required

• Preferably experience with CT CANON Acquilion One scanner

• Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS, California state license, Venipuncture, LA Fire Card (within last 30 days)

• Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)

• No on-call responsibilities

• No floating between units required

• Epic charting system experience

• Scrubs: Any color (L&D & OR scrubs provided)

• 40-hour orientation period

• Must complete pre-start and annual modules (approximately 16 hours)

• Work with patients of all ages including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

• Perform various CT procedures including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis scans with and without contrast

• Skills include 3D rendering, trauma imaging, vascular studies, and preparation/administration of contrast media

The organization provides excellent interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The facility utilizes Epic charting system and offers free parking for staff members.
