Warehouse Manager
to join their growing team in St. Louis, Missouri. The Warehouse Manager is a hands-on leader responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations while actively participating in the work. This role involves directly performing and overseeing inventory management, shipping, receiving, picking, and packing. The Warehouse Manager will also maintain clear and consistent communication with the sales team, contractors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent service.

Venger Group specializes in the cosmetic refurbishment of grocery store refrigerated display cases, offering services across North America. Established in 1985, they have refurbished cases in thousands of supermarkets over 36 years.
This is a full-time, permanent, onsite position located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Operations Actively participate in shipping, receiving, picking, and packing tasks as part of daily operations. Lead by example on the warehouse floor, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Step in wherever needed to keep workflow on track. Inventory Management Maintain accurate counts through regular cycle checks and reconciliations. Organize warehouse layout for efficiency and accessibility. Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages or overages promptly. Shipping & Receiving Process inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timeliness and accuracy. Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies and resolve issues quickly. Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, and contractors to schedule shipments. Order Fulfillment (Picking & Packing) Ensure orders are picked, packed, and staged correctly for delivery. Establish and follow efficient workflows to minimize errors. Maintain quality control standards for packaging and order accuracy. Communication & Collaboration Over communicate with sales, contractors, and internal teams to confirm order status, delivery expectations, and inventory availability. Provide updates on warehouse capacity, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Act as the primary point of contact for warehouse-related questions. Leadership & Safety Supervise, train, and support warehouse staff while working alongside them. Reinforce safety standards and ensure compliance with workplace policies. Encourage teamwork and a strong work ethic by modeling accountability.
Qualifications: Prior experience in warehouse management or lead/supervisor roles. Comfortable working hands-on in all aspects of warehouse operations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Effective communicator who prioritizes collaboration with sales and contractors. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Basic computer skills: ERP, Microsoft office with excel as well as CRM (Monday.com) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly. Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and working in warehouse conditions. Ability to pass a background check; a drug test may also be requested.
